TidBits 082: Mens sana in corpore sano!

The ancient Latins retained that a sound mind lives in a healthy body and I’d say that the idea by Byografia, a contemporary furnishings brand, to create the Bookbike respects this type of concept, uniting in your living room an outdoor object dedicated to physical activity with what we can define “food for the mind”.

Bookbike was presented during a recent Milano Design Week and stems from an idea by Buby Caimi. An object of design, useful, fun, practical and unusual that hosts yes, everyday books, CDs and various other articles, but also a slightly cumbersome but practical object which has lately come back into fashion: the bicycle. Designed and produced with guides for the wheels (so as not to leave unpleasant marks on the floor), Bookbike also has a simple height-adjustable anchoring system.

A handy solution that brings the bike into the home together with books, in a safe housing harbored from atmospheric agents and from vandalism and even from thieves, thus becoming a special element of “decoration”. So now... there are really no more excuses not to have a “mens sana in corpore sano”!
