TidBits 039: All… papers are in order

In Italy, a national paper award has been conceived. And since “an award is a recognition for an activity, a gesture, a work and/or in any case something exceptional”, this one is designed for all those who have their … “papers in order”!

Symbola (Foundation that caters to Italian quality) and Comieco (Italian National Consortium for recovery andrecycling) have joined forces to organize a contest –with the collaboration of several trade associations – for thepurpose of promoting, acknowledging and enhancing those entities that meet the criteria of excellence, sustainability and respect for Italian tradition in several different areas of the paper field: industrial, artisan, research and innovation.

All those wishing to participate will have to demonstrate that their “papers are in order” – that is, that they have placed quality at the center of their production, in their goods or in their services, without neglecting innovation or tradition, with the intent to create competitiveness and keeping their attention focused on the environment and the territory.

All types of Italian talents within the field of paper can participate at the award: companies, research agencies, associations, institutions, trade schools, artisans and artists.
