Eldorado Brasil is a Brazilian company that has built the world’s largest single-line pulp mill. The mill has a capacity to produce 1.5 million tons a year of bleached pulp. The startup of the mill was at the end of November last year. During the ceremony of Eldorado's plant inauguration, happened on December 12th, the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sang for guests at a celebratory concert.

The raw material of Eldorado Brasil’s mill is wood from planted eucalyptus forest, which is a 100% renewable source. The investment of more than USD 3 billion involved the best available technology.

The project management focused on the sustainability of industrial and forestry processes.

Italy is going to be an important market to Eldorado due to the strong tissue and paper industry in the country.

Hence Eldorado plans to sell a significant part of its production output to tissue and paper mills in Italy.
